Eat and be healthy made easy!

OK to be honest it's not that easy but let's all learn together and see if we can make it as easy as possible.

Not long ago, a little over a month maybe, my new doctor ran blood tests on me and told me I was vitamin deficient.   This doctor was very nice, helpful and informative.  This is the first time I ever experienced this kind of visit with a doctor before.  It's the first time a doctor really discussed my blood tests and told me what vitamin deficiencies my body has.  And it makes me wonder why my previous doctor I had for a couple years, in the city I'd moved from, didn't tell me about this fact.

OK, I could tell you more about that but I'll move on to the first lesson!

Lesson 1 Biotin (B-Complex)

Food products that contain Biotin include bread, brown rice, bran cereals, egg yolk, yeast, nuts, beans, peas, cauliflower, liver, kidney and fish.

For a more thorough reading about Biotin visit the page source I got the above information from at this link:

Now, I'll have to investigate further to find out just how much biotin the body needs.  If I'm able to find this out I will add it to my post here.

I also learned from the above source that our bodies get a certain amount of Biotin from bacteria in the intestines.
